Idaho volunteer lawyers program
IVLP works to close the justice gap in Idaho by providing pro bono attorneys to represent clients and operating monthly legal clinics where individuals may access free legal advice. IVLP will use Access to Justice Idaho funds to provide legal services that ensure the health, safety and stability of individuals and families and that help people maintain and secure income and housing.
Specifically, IVLP will assist victims of domestic violence with family law matters; protect children and adults from abuse, neglect and abandonment; provide debt defense; and fight against evictions and for habitable housing.

Although the case has been settled for many months now, Olson continues to show compassion and care for Smith, still checking in with her on occasion.
